Dissectify started as an overly ambitious goal. With the time that I have, I want to see every single species on the planet. I’ve come to realize it’s a unachievable goal, but I will get a lot closer with the help of others. I have also come to believe that living things are complex and amazing, but they should not be thought of as solely useful to humans.
Along the way I hope this project can convince others that there is something gained by being in nature and seeing species in the context of their environment. Also that nature is something worth making an effort to protect.
